Troubleshooting β
Use this chapter when a menu, form, transaction, report, or import does not behave as expected.
Start from the symptom, then check permission, company setting, required master data, and document status.
Menu Is Missing β
Ask the administrator to check role access. Menus appear only when the user's role includes the related permission.
Example: Import Minimum Stock appears only when import permission exists and minimum stock mode is active.
Price Fields Are Missing β
Check both conditions:
- Enable Price must be active in company settings.
- The user's role must include price access.
If either condition is missing, KartuStok hides price fields.
Minimum Stock Report Is Different β
The warehouse minimum stock mode controls which report appears. If Per Warehouse is active, use Warehouse Minimum Stock. If Union is active, use Minimum Stock.
Report Shows No Data β
Check:

| Date range | Transactions outside the range are not shown. |
| Warehouse | The selected location may not have movement. |
| Item | The selected item may not have transactions. |
| Document status | Draft transactions may not be included in reports. |
| Permission | Some data can be hidden by access rules. |
Import Fails β
Check that required columns are filled, codes match existing master data, and the file follows the expected template. Fix the file and upload it again.
Transaction Cannot Be Completed β
Common causes include missing required fields, no item lines, invalid warehouse selection, stock rules that prevent the quantity, or missing permission.
Checklist:
- Confirm transaction date is not locked by Calendar Period.
- Confirm required standard fields are filled.
- Confirm required custom fields are filled.
- Confirm item lines exist.
- Confirm warehouse and stock rules allow the quantity.
- Confirm the user has create/update permission for that transaction type.
Print Does Not Open β
Allow popups for the KartuStok application domain. If the print page opens but content is incomplete, return to the transaction and check whether the document is completed and whether the selected print template is available.
Example Troubleshooting Flow β
If a warehouse user says βI cannot see price on Receiptβ, check in this order:
- Is Enable Price active in Settings?
- Does the user's role have View on the Price row?
- Is the user logged into the correct company?
- Has the user refreshed or logged in again after role/settings changes?
